Terms & Conditions
Last updated 24 August 2026
These terms govern your use of TALU, provided by Abdulrahman Zubida (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use TALU you agree to them.
The service
TALU is a household kitchen application: it records the food you have, highlights what to use first, suggests recipes from your inventory, and lets household members share one kitchen. TALU is an organisational tool. It does not provide food-safety, medical or nutritional advice, and you remain responsible for judging whether food is safe to eat.
Your account
You must be of legal age, or have authority to accept these terms on behalf of your organisation. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account, and for providing accurate information.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use TALU unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property rights;
- interfere with the security of the service, including malware, probing, scraping or circumventing technical limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.
Intellectual property
We retain ownership of TALU and all related software, content, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TALU within your membership. You keep ownership of the kitchen data you enter, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.
Payment, subscription and refunds
TALU is a paid product with monthly, annual and lifetime memberships. Recurring memberships renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are set out in Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Our own refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
Fair use of smart capture
Barcode, receipt, photo and voice capture rely on external services with variable cost. Those features carry a generous monthly fair-use allowance per household. Core inventory, Use First and recipe features are never limited by that allowance.
Service level
We work to keep TALU available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated serious policy violations. You may stop using TALU and delete your account at any time. When access ends, you can export your kitchen data during the retention window described in our Privacy Notice.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that limitation is not permitted.
