Delete your TALU account
You can delete your TALU account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete it yourself while signed in
- 1. Sign in to TALU with the account you want to delete.
- 2. Open Profile from the bottom navigation.
- 3. Choose Delete account and confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account and profile details.
- Your kitchen items, expiry dates and usage history.
- Your capture sessions, uploaded receipt or photo data and their results.
- Your household membership, and the household itself if you are its only member.
- Your notification and language preferences.
What is retained, and why
- Billing and tax records required by law, kept by our payment provider for the statutory period.
- Anonymous, aggregated product statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
- Security and abuse-prevention logs, kept briefly and then removed.
If you cannot sign in
Email us from the address on the account and we will verify it and delete the account for you.
Email support@taluai.comIn-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verification.
